What is beauty?

"Beautiful, is what you love," Sappho said.

Who are we humans, to define beauty when nature it is.

Beautiful can be received with the eye and the ear, and Platon defines that it can also be received with only the eye or only

the ear. In this format, we limit ourselves to the visual

perception.Platon defines that "(...) every human being has an innate and constant sense of beauty as a touchstone."He

gives a theory according to which beauty has an "order, measure and symmetry". tI is a property, of the joining, of its

parts.The primordial form of being, is beautiful.

So what is the beauty?

The idea- only the idea is beautiful, not the visual perception. So there is an "Urschön" which is untouchable and

incomparable, as the sophists describes. And perhaps that is precisely the quality that we have to revive because we have

lost it. By the flooding of beauty ideals on social media, our sense of beauty is rudimentary.But now every human

perceives the phenomena of nature and landscape as beautiful.

In my photographs we see a gorge that is outsized and all- embracing and just beautiful.And the human is also a part of it. He interacts with her and he is connecting to her. We see waves as patterns and a play of ups and downs in the rocks, which are also reflected in the body of the model.We see the body as pristine in pristine nature - and that is untouchable. "Urschön", it is.

And what is "more perfect than the body, is the soul".The soul can feel, think and has a consciousness. For Jeremy, the shooting is a dream come true, because he was able to pursue the urges of his soul. His movements and poses say more than words ever could. Here he expresses feelings and toughts that everyone can transfer to himself individually.
